Per the City Council Administrative Procedures dated June 13, 2017, the SeaTac City Council established the following standing Council Committees: (The links will take you to documents related to the committee.)

Administration and Finance Committee, which shall consider matters related to administrative and procedural issues, financial issues, human services and contracts/negotiations.

Code Compliance Committeewhich shall consider matters related to code compliance issues, to create more successful outcomes by providing input to staff on the program and priorities, and as necessary, forward recommendations to the City Council for action.


Public Safety and Justice Committee, which shall consider matters related to police and fire issues. 

Transportation and Public Works Committee, which shall consider matters related to transportation policy, transportation projects, and utility issues.

These committees consist of 3 Councilmembers each appointed by the Mayor.

The Standing Committees shall consider and may make policy and legislative recommendations to the City Council on items referred to the Committee by the Mayor, the Council, or the City Manager.
