WELCOME TO THE CITY OF SEATAC

The City of SeaTac, a designated regional growth center, is home to approximately 70 “Fortune 1000” companies, including the corporate headquarters of Alaska Airlines and the Boeing spare parts facility. Businesses in the City generate an annual gross income of approximately $4 billion with an employment base of nearly 40,000 jobs.

In the City of SeaTac, where “everywhere’s possible,” opportunities abound for prospective businesses and potential developers alike. The City is proactively promoting mixed-use development opportunities in the areas surrounding the light rail stations at South 200th Street, 176th Street and 154th Streets and will serve as catalysts for adjacent redevelopment.

Located within the City, Seattle-Tacoma International Airport is an economic driver of private sector growth. The 9th busiest airport in the country, Sea-Tac Airport served over 34 million passengers and transported 366 metric tons of cargo in 2016. More than 5,500 guest rooms within the City of SeaTac provide a constant stream of visitors that expands the market for local businesses. Downtown Seattle and the University of Washington are just short rides away on light rail, and with direct access to several freeways the City is the ideal place for any business that depends on a multi-faceted transportation system to move people and products.

“I’ve had the opportunity to work with many cities and one thing I learned about the City of SeaTac is they have our goals and best interest in mind. They’re going to work very hard to ensure businesses are successful in this city.”
